Dear Parents,

Our Annual Open House and Concert is this Friday, the 18th, 6:00 and 7:00, respectively. Please come out and enjoy our students singing and playing to the glory of God. Students who will be on stage must dress appropriately – no jeans, sweathsirts, t-shirts, athletic shoes, etc. – you know the drill! This year there is an exception – Mrs. Allen’s music class is allowed to wear jeans, sneakers and hoodies as their concert attire on Friday – it’s their “costume” for one of their numbers.

Memorial Day break is Friday, May 25th and Monday the 28th.

The Sports Banquet will be held on Thursday, May 31st at 6pm. All volunteers, staff ,parents, athletes, coaches and their families are invited!  Please bring a dish to pass and RSVP to Mrs. Goodman in the office to let us know you are planning to attend!

3-8 Testing   Next year all 3-8 students will take the tests for the grade level of math or ELA they are actually taking. It comes up because some kids are a year ahead or behind their nominal  grade level in math or reading. For instance, a student in 5th grade (their nominal grade level) might be taking 6th or 4th grade math or reading. From now on they will take the test for the level they are learning, instead of being made to take a test based solely on their nominal grade level.

God bless,
Pastor Scott
